Aka-Poly+ & Aka-Mono+

Aka-Poly+ and Aka-Mono+ are diamond suspensions with an extremely high diamond concentration of 40 ct/l. They are developed to provide the fastest preparation possible with reproducible results. Select one of our lubricants to suit the material to be prepared and Aka-Poly+ and Aka-Mono+ will provide fast and perfect preparation results for especially very hard materials. This can be achieved because of the high diamond concentration and the possibility to adjust the suspension/lubrication ratio very accurately. For experienced metallographers this is the ultimate tool to perfect your sample preparation.

When used in combination with Aka-Lube Clear+, it is possible to obtain up to 100% higher removal rate compared to traditional diamond suspensions with a diamond concentration of 20 ct/l. This means that you can reduce your preparation time substantially.
The high diamond concentration can also provide a reduction in suspension costs. It is possible to reduce the dosing levels with 50% and obtain the same removal rate with Aka-Poly+ or Aka-Mono+ compared to a traditional diamond suspension.

When is it/can it be an advantage to dose diamond suspension and lubricant separately?
When you are using a diamond suspension with a very high diamond concentration you can use a high amount of suspension in relation to the lubricant for a high removal rate and short preparation times. You can also use a smaller amount of diamond suspension, then the preparation time will be longer, but that could save cost.
