DiaDoublo
Mono- and polycrystalline 45 µm to 0.025 µm
Dosing of only one liquid, instead of both suspension and lubricant. DiaDoublo is a ready mix of lubricant and suspension, it is permanently stable and thus ensures reproducible results.
The increased removal rate provided by our lubricants has been fully retained; you may therefore allow for a 30-50% shorter preparation time (DiaDoublo Poly).
- Quick preparation
- Adjust diamond concentration with extender or suspension
- Little effect of overdosing
- Reproducible results
- Water-based, no hazard warnings
- Biodegradable
- Water-free version
Full Range
Based on our lubricants and diamond suspensions , we have formulated a combination product, which makes dosing as easy as can be. All grain sizes in both mono- and polycrystalline diamonds are available as DiaDoublo.
Contrary to competing two-in-one diamond suspensions; DiaDoublo is perfectly compatible with any polishing or fine-grinding surface, thus you can work with the usual micron sizes.
DiaDoublo contains solely mono- or polycrystalline diamonds.
Adjustable diamond concentration
DiaDoublo is fully compatible with our diamond suspensions and Extender consequently you can adjust DiaDoublo if you wish to change its performance. Dilute with extender, or increase the diamond concentration by adding diamond suspension.
Limited effects of overdosing
As a result of the lubricating film’s low viscosity, excessive liquid is quickly dispersed on the surface. This reduces the aquaplaning effect, and the disadvantage of overdosing is limited to an increased consumption.
Water-free
DiaDoublo Water-free is made from the same mix of glycols as Aka-Paste, thus it is non-toxic and non-flammable. It contains less than 0.1% water and is perfect for preparation of water sensitive specimens.
The viscocity is higher than our water based DiaDoublo, therefore DiaDoublo Water-free can only be dosed using peristaltic pumps.
The scratch depth is deeper than the waterbased DiaDoublo, so force on the specimens should be lowered with 50 - 70 % to get the same scratch depth.
