Aka-Cure, Quick with outstanding mechanical and chemical properties, not surpassed by any other cold embedding epoxy, almost as good as hot embedding.
Curing in 30 minutes @ 80°C.
Pre-curing at room temperature without increase in temperature makes it possible to embed large specimens in one shot.
Outstanding edge retention and low shrinkage
A combination of high HDT (Heat Deflection Temperature), high hardness and low shrinkage results in specimens easy to prepare. No smearing no embedded abrasive grain and high edge retention.
The finished embeddings are clear with a light yellow tone, no problems with identifying the embedded sample.
Impregnation
Pot-life of 2 hours combined with low viscosity makes Aka-Cure, Quick suitable for impregnation of porous samples.
Large embedding
Pre-curing at room temperature without any increase in temperature makes Aka-Cure, Quick ideal for embedding large volumes. Large samples can now be embedded without danger for high shrinkage, discolouring and boiling.
